The members-only website evokes the escape and rewards offered by Blue Horizons via a cool, clean, calm design, and its intuitive “shopping” user-interface makes it a pleasure to browse. Launching their Refugee Realities education initiative, Oxfam sought a digital presence to support their instructive “refugee camps” set up at Universities across Australia. A pro-bono project, the website provides a definitional resource for individuals and groups seeking more information about experiences of refugees. Content-rich but easy to navigate, our design differentiates itself from Oxfam’s corporate website with a more ragged aesthetic referencing the blurred lines around the often confronting subject matter.
